Is Motor Toon Grand Prix still worth playing in 2026?

A cartoon kart racer from Polyphony Digital before Gran Turismo, Motor Toon Grand Prix wins with its zany art direction, its deformed vehicles with expressive animations and its tracks packed with gags. The accessible handling, the items and the multiplayer mode make it a pleasant party racer, a showcase of the budding craft of Kazunori Yamauchi's studio. The limited content and period 3D have aged. An endearing curiosity for fans of arcade karting and the curious about the origins of Gran Turismo.
