The Super Famicom edition of the Black Pearl port, released in Japan as the SFC catalogue neared its close. Here the Japanese card box and spine card carry the collecting appeal, the Japanese version generally being the most affordable source for this small arcade title. A curiosity for lovers of the 16-bit generation's twilight rather than a centrepiece: value rests on a tidy complete copy, less on the loose cartridge, which stays very common.
