Is Mr. Driller G still worth playing in 2026?

An action puzzle from Namco, Mr. Driller G has the player dig through columns of coloured blocks to clear in chains, while managing an air gauge that imposes a tense rhythm and constant planning. The crystal clear concept, the readability and the wealth of modes make it a fiercely addictive puzzler, perfect in short sessions. The modest production and Japan exclusivity matter little against the efficiency of the gameplay. An excellent thinking game for fans of snappy puzzles and scoring.
