Collector interest

The Korean edition of Mr. Driller, from a market where the physical PlayStation catalog stayed narrow, which makes this version markedly rarer than its Western and Japanese counterparts. This local release appeals to collectors attentive to thinly documented regional runs. Its desirability rests almost entirely on this geographic scarcity rather than on the game's renown.

Is Mr. Driller still worth playing in 2026?

Mr. Driller is an addictive Namco arcade puzzler where you must dig downward by breaking colour blocks while managing oxygen. Simple to understand, hard to master, Yoshiki Ishii's title offers an elegantly vertical puzzle formula with five hundred metres to dig and deep scoring. Kawaii art direction and a sticky soundtrack do the rest. A classic to bring out today.
