A charming Ocean platformer about Mr. Nutz the squirrel, in the line of period animal heroes. Pretty, pleasant, without changing the genre.

The red squirrel is animated with cartoon suppleness and stands out against very colourful scenery: autumn forests, snowed-in chalets, ice caves. The backgrounds layer several planes with permanently animated elements, falling leaves, snowflakes, waterfalls, giving depth to every tableau.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.

Is Mr. Nutz still worth playing in 2026?
A colourful platformer from Ocean, Mr. Nutz has you play a squirrel who fights enemies with tail whips across varied, polished levels. The shimmering art direction, the fluid animation and the snappy gameplay place the title in the vein of the era's good mascot platformers, without revolutionising the genre. The pleasant handling and the cheerful pace appeal. For a fan of classic retro platforming or someone curious about the Mega Drive's forgotten mascots, the title keeps a likeable charm and a solid production.
