Direct sequel with expanded roster, new characters from the early manga arcs. Refined combat system, more accessible juggles, improved parries. Online mode available at the time, local multi still the highlight. More complete than the first entry, slightly better balance. Remains a niche Naruto fighter but properly executed, mainly for fans of the classic anime.
