Naruto - Ultimate Ninja Heroes is the first PSP installment of Bandai Namco's fighting series, in which the legendary rivals of the Naruto universe clash in 2D duels with spectacular techniques. The faithfulness to the anime, the polished character design and the flamboyant ultimate attacks will please fans, but the combat system stays fairly simple and the content limited. For fans of anime-licensed versus fighting and the Naruto universe, it is a likable diversion, mainly carried by attachment to the series rather than by its depth.
