Is NBA 2K2 still worth playing in 2026?
This GameCube port of Sega's simulation held genuine credibility against the competition back then. Today the pace stays fluid and the franchise mode is deeper than expected, but dated visuals and entirely outdated rosters reserve it for the nostalgic. Fans of the 2K series will see the root of a dynasty that became a benchmark. For everyone else the appeal is purely historical and quickly runs thin.
