An even wilder NBA Jam sequel with explosive play. Ideal for four player arcade nights without sport pretense.

Utterly deranged two-on-two basketball: supernatural dunks, players on fire and aerial combos defy every law of physics. Player customisation adds a fun touch and the frantic pace never lets you breathe. With several players, rivalry builds fast amid the laughter. Spectacular, snappy and gleeful, an arcade sport built for showing off.
Third entry in the Hang Time line spun off from NBA Jam, released late in PAL territories as 64-bit hardware was already taking over. This end-of-generation European issue saw only a short print run, making it noticeably scarcer than its US counterpart. The game itself is an arcade sports title with no cult status, but a complete boxed PAL copy with manual holds genuine appeal for collectors of late SNES sports releases.
Is NBA Hang Time still worth playing in 2026?
Arcade basketball in the NBA Jam vein, with its supercharged two-on-two matches, gravity-defying dunks and colourful commentary. The added player editor brings a welcome personal touch. Instant fun and spectacle far outweigh realism, making it a great party game. Still highly effective today for frenzied multiplayer sessions, especially for anyone who loves snappy arcade hoops.
