NCAA college sport from EA Sports/Visual Concepts, Football 2005 edition. US college teams, sim gameplay, TV presentation. Decent execution but a very narrow NCAA niche. Of no particular interest outside the US audience.

Is NCAA Football 2005 still worth playing in 2026?

NCAA Football 2005 targeted American college football fans, a niche audience already narrow outside North America. The dynasty mode and recruiting had real depth back then, but the whole thing shows its age badly: stiff animations, dated presentation and expired licences that strip away any current sporting relevance. Without ties to NCAA football, the experience leaves you cold today. With the series long discontinued, the game retains only mild documentary value and little else for newcomers.
