The 2006 entry in the EA series, Need for Speed Carbon blends nocturnal street racing, dizzying canyon duels and managing a crew of teammates with varied skills. The dark mood, the downhill clashes at the edge of the precipice and the polished customisation extend the Underground spirit with a more mature touch. The arcade driving and a conventional story temper the whole. A good racing game for fans of nocturnal street racing and of the mid 2000s open world formula.
