Is Need for Speed - Most Wanted still worth playing in 2026?
A pursuit racer by EA Black Box, Most Wanted imposes a blacklist of stylish opponents to take down while evading an ever more aggressive police force. The tense driving, the urban races and the 2000s action film vibe still work surprisingly well today. The GameCube version stays solid and fluid. For anyone fond of arcade racing with an elaborate pursuit system, the title remains a reference and probably the peak of the Need for Speed street racing branch on the console at any moment now.
