Sega/Visual Concepts American football. NFL rosters, polished TV presentation, accessible sim gameplay. Good Madden competitor but less iconic, EA Sports later buys the NFL franchise. Honest for demanding NFL fans.

The NTSC release of NFL 2K3 is the US version of Sega Sports's simulator in a large print. Collector value comes from the recognised technical quality of the 2K Sports franchise against Madden and from this direct competition with EA ending shortly after due to the exclusive NFL-EA deal.
