Midway arcade American football, 2003 edition. Seven-on-seven, illegal tackles legal here, snappy and brutal gameplay, hyped commentary. Continues the NFL Blitz tradition, festive four-player multi. Unashamed fun, no serious NFL simulation.

Is NFL Blitz 2003 still worth playing in 2026?
Blitz-style arcade football thrived on breakneck pace, spectacular tackles and rowdy local multiplayer. This entry keeps that immediate energy, yet it has lost its shine: modest presentation, thin content and a licence frozen in time. Its saving grace is raw fun with several controllers in hand. Solo, or against modern sports games, it doesn't hold up, remaining mostly a sociable curiosity.
