Midway arcade American football, Pro edition. Seven-on-seven, illegal tackles legal here, snappy and brutal gameplay, hyped commentary. Continues the NFL Blitz tradition, festive four-player multi. Unashamed fun, no serious NFL simulation.

Is NFL Blitz Pro still worth playing in 2026?
Old-school arcade American football, NFL Blitz Pro leaned on excess and exaggerated tackles rather than simulation. Yet this sequel softened the formula until it lost the streak of madness that made the series fun, and the modest period score bears that out. Local multiplayer keeps a certain rowdy charm among friends, but the solo wears thin fast and the presentation shows its age. A minor blowout, mostly for fans nostalgic about the original Blitz.
