Is NHL Hitz Pro still worth playing in 2026?

Midway attempts an awkward straddle here: keep the Hitz arcade spirit while flirting with realism. The result wavers, shedding the series' over-the-top fun without reaching the rigor of a true hockey sim. The flashy bodychecks amuse for a while in local multiplayer, but content is limited and the presentation has dated. Arcade hockey fans will prefer the wilder Hitz games. A wobbly entry that leaves little mark today.
