The North American edition of Psygnosis's shooter, Novastorm shipped in the Sega CD cardboard long-box, packaging now fragile and rarely kept intact. More widely circulated than the PAL release thanks to a larger US base, it stays sought after for the pre-rendered video look emblematic of Psygnosis craftsmanship. Collector interest concentrates on complete copies with clean long-boxes, whose value owes more to the cardboard's fragility than to any scarcity of the disc itself.
