Hydravision co-op survival horror with high school students trapped in their haunted school. The local co-op mode with a friend is the highlight of this atypical title. American horror atmosphere and survival mechanics are decent. A good niche title for horror fans wanting a duo experience.

Is Obscure still worth playing in 2026?

A survival horror from Hydravision, Obscure places a group of high schoolers against a nightmarish infection in their school, with two player co-op where every survivor counts and the option to be helped by an AI or friend controlled partner. The teen horror mood, the light versus darkness system and the co-op tension bring a real identity to the genre. The stiff handling and a modest presentation weigh. A co-op survival horror for fans of multiplayer scares and embraced B movie fare.
