One Piece action-adventure where the crew explores a mysterious island to recover an underwater treasure. Combat with nine playable characters faithful to the manga, exploration of varied environments (jungle, ruins, caves). Material gathering, item crafting, Wiimote mini-games. Decent cel-shaded execution, reasonable runtime, original scenario dedicated to the game. Good shonen action for fans, no revolution but respectful adaptation.

The first part of the One Piece Unlimited Cruise duology, this title extends the action adventure formula with Luffy's crew exploring varied islands, blending platforming, fishing, gathering and manga faithful combat. The cel-shaded art direction renders Oda's line well and the cooperation between characters entertains. The improvable camera and a repetitive structure remain its limits. A pleasant title for One Piece fans and lovers of colourful licensed adventure on Wii.
