The pace stays brisk, the racing snappy and the race against the clock always exhilarating. More adventurous than the original, it bets on variety and speed for a welcome pocket change of scenery.
OutRun Europa, the North American version of the U.S. Gold variation with the Lotus Esprit Turbo, distinct from the European pressing. This chase-and-secret-mission offshoot draws OutRun fans keen to gather the series' least exposed branches. Its interest lies in that regional-variant status of an already atypical spin-off more than in any absolute rarity of the NTSC market.
Is OutRun Europa still worth playing in 2026?
