European edition of Ganbarion's action RPG published by Nintendo, the third part of the trio of Japanese Wii RPGs that inspired the Operation Rainfall campaign. The PAL version appeared in April 2012 as the console declined, in measured quantities, and largely preceded the North American release. Desirability rests on its status as a sought-after late RPG and on the title's place in a wave of games first denied for export, become emblematic among collectors.

Is Pandora's Tower still worth playing in 2026?

An action RPG from Ganbarion published by Nintendo, Pandora's Tower blends exploration of thirteen suspended towers, chain combat to tear flesh from monsters, and a tragic love story where the heroine slowly turns into a beast. The chain mechanic, the narrative urgency imposed by a relentless gauge and the melancholy atmosphere make it a singular, striking work. The repetition of some towers and an improvable camera weigh on it. An original title for fans of atmospheric action RPGs.
