An average Jaleco brawler without much personality. Pleasant in quick local multi, but far from Capcom genre giants.

Description
Jaleco beat-'em-up in which warriors battle clones and enemies in a futuristic city. Published by Jaleco, released in the USA in 1994. Characters with distinct fighting styles, futuristic levels and two-player co-op. American version of Jaleco's Rushing Beat Ran renamed The Peace Keepers.
The American edition of Rushing Beat Ran, renamed The Peace Keepers for the NTSC market with a reworked futuristic dressing. Unlike the cheaper Japanese source, the complete US version in a cardboard box asks more of American collectors, given the print run and localized presentation. The brawler stays middling without cult aura, so the loose cart is common and cheap; it is the un-warped box and manual that carry this NTSC edition's value.
Is Peace Keepers, The still worth playing in 2026?
The Peace Keepers is a Jaleco beat-em-up that tries to add variety to the genre with branching scenarios and several characters. The result stays decent without standing out, the hits lack impact and the animation shows its age against Capcom's benchmarks. Its main appeal lies in local multiplayer, still effective for some shared mayhem. For genre fans looking to round out their sixteen-bit picture, it is an honest option, far from essential but pleasant in company.
