Description
Joanna Dark, agent of the Carrington Institute, thwarts an alien conspiracy on Game Boy Color in this portable spin-off of the N64 game. Published by Rare, released in Europe in August 2000. Top-down infiltration and action missions, varied weapons, connection with the N64 game to transfer characters and data. Rumble Pak version.
Perfect Dark on Game Boy Color, made by Rare, dares to transpose Joanna Dark's espionage into a top-down view, with stealth, varied weapons and a link to the Nintendo 64 version. The proposition is ambitious for the handheld and offers genuine mission variety, but the readability of the action and at-times confusing handling betray the limits of the platform. Today it is worth it mainly for the curiosity of a bold adaptation and for fans of the license eager to explore this atypical iteration.
