Persona Q - Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS) price, value & rarity
The NTSC release of Persona Q shipped as the Wild Cards Premium Edition, a box with art book, soundtrack and a transparent plastic card case, which became the real collector item of this US release. The standalone cartridge stays more accessible, but the complete box ranks among the most prized US Atlus editions on 3DS.
Better with friends
First-person dungeon crawling where a team of heroes from two worlds advances tile by tile, balancing mapmaking, resource management and battle positioning. Played solo, it's nonetheless best savored with several brains: charting corridors, debating tactical calls and anticipating traps as a group turns each descent into an impromptu board game. Dense and demanding, it rewards shared thinking with hard-won victories.
Is Persona Q - Shadow of the Labyrinth still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2014 on 3DS, Atlus' project marries the world and characters of Persona 3 and Persona 4 to the dungeon crawler system of Etrian Odyssey, in a crossover delightful for fans. The first person exploration of labyrinths, the map you draw yourself and the Press Turn turn based combat combine the tactical depth of Etrian with the warm writing of Persona. The chibi art direction and the exchanges between the heroes of the two games make for an endearing adventure. The high difficulty and the length of the dungeons put off. An excellent crossover, recommended for fans of Persona and of Etrian Odyssey.
