Is R.B.I. Baseball '94 still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to Tengen's baseball, R.B.I. Baseball '94 updates the rosters and tweaks a few mechanics, without really transforming the previous formula. The accessibility and clarity remain, but the minor evolution and a presentation that has barely progressed struggle to justify the novelty against an increasingly strong sports competition. The pleasure of two player games stays its best argument. For a fan of retro baseball or of the R.B.I. series, the title keeps an interest mostly for its updated rosters and convivial fun.
