A wonderfully crafted radio-controlled toy car racer. Thirty-five RC vehicles to unlock, everyday-inspired circuits and a touch of light weaponry. The handling demands real care across varied surfaces, the multiplayer is jubilant and the art direction stays full of charm. A lovely surprise.

The USA edition of Re-Volt, Acclaim's radio-controlled car racer, one of the few titles in this batch whose demand rests on the game itself. Demanding handling, charming miniature aesthetics and a well-regarded multiplayer earn it a genuine core of loyal fans. Loose stays affordable, but sealed climbs sharply, driven by lasting esteem rather than mere scarcity.

Is Re-Volt still worth playing in 2026?

A racing game from Acclaim, Re-Volt has you drive miniature radio controlled cars on tracks full of obstacles, crossing houses, gardens and supermarkets at toy height. The snappy driving, the weapons picked up on track and the creativity of the layouts give an original, joyful experience, in the Micro Machines spirit in 3D. The polished production and the multiplayer still appeal. For a fan of retro arcade racing or someone curious about original concepts, the title keeps a singular charm and a very real fun.
