Renegade adapts the Technos arcade beat em up to Master System with its punk hero defending his girlfriend in the streets. The 8 bit conversion loses visual grandeur but keeps the genre's pioneering formula. Honest for 8 bit beat em up fans, historical classic.

Collector interest

This Technos beat them up conversion reached the Master System late and only on PAL and Brazilian shelves, never in the US or Japan. That absence from the American market, rather than the game's own merits, drives its standing among collectors today. Complete copies, especially the Tec Toy pressings, surface less often than the console's typical arcade ports, which keeps demand steady for a fairly ordinary brawler.
