Capcom drag survival horror back to its roots with Jill and Parker aboard the Queen Zenobia. Raid mode delivers snappy co-op, the claustrophobic maritime mood chills, and this is probably Capcom's most convincing return to form since the series' absolute golden age.

Collector interest

North American (NTSC-U) edition of Resident Evil Revelations, the console port of an entry first designed for handheld, reconnecting with a more muted horror and a maritime confined setting valued by fans. Still fairly common, its collector interest rests on this return to the roots of fear in Capcom's saga rather than scarcity. An interesting piece for a horror set on the console, accessible and valued by series fans.

Is Resident Evil - Revelations still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2013 on Xbox 360 after its handheld debut, Capcom's Resident Evil Revelations marks a welcome return toward horror and tense exploration, far from the pure action of the main entries. The investigation aboard a ghost liner, the Genesis scanner system and the tight resource management revive the series' classic dread. The Raid mode, nervy and loot oriented, extends the experience in co op. The episodic structure betrays its handheld origins. But the oppressive atmosphere appeals. For fans of survival horror and the series, this title keeps a strong appeal today.
