A hundred microgames, a hundred refrains as absurd as they are irresistibly catchy: the collection signed by Tsunku overflows with zany pop and unstoppable grooves. Each track dictates the tempo and makes a smile a mechanic, rewarding accuracy. This rhythmic madness, joyful and inventive, refuses to leave your head.

Rhythm Sesang The Best+ is the Korean version of Rhythm Paradise Megamix and one of the rarest Nintendo Korea localisations ever produced. An extremely small local print, brief distribution and a Korean market lukewarm to rhythm games make this a genuine regional hunt. Very sporadic secondary-market appearances.

Better with friends

A rhythm festival where you tap in time to zany skits, passing the console around or comparing scores in a good-natured mood. The fun is above all social: challenging each other on a tricky minigame, laughing at the flubs and celebrating a flawless run sparks joyful one-upmanship. A few trials lend themselves to duos, and the easy access makes it an ideal companion for relaxed family evenings.

Is Rhythm Sesang - The Best+ still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2015 in Japan then 2016 in the West on 3DS and known in Japan as Rhythm Tengoku - The Best+, Nintendo's project gathers the best of the rhythm game series, built on a rare demand, the sense of tempo rather than reflexes. The challenges, short and absurd, ask you to press at the right moment on zany skits accompanied by catchy, original music. The structure tied by a light narrative thread and the generous content make for a joyful and fiercely addictive whole. The difficulty of some offbeat rhythms surprises. A gem of the music game, recommended for fans of rhythm and of absurd humour.
