An action game from the Robotech animated series, Battlecry has you pilot Veritechs able to transform between jet, intermediate mode and robot, in aerial and ground combat against alien forces. The on the fly transformation, the fidelity to the anime and the snappy pace of the clashes win over fans. The repetitive missions and an uneven production weigh on it. A title for fans of transforming mechs and Robotech nostalgics after accessible action.
