Is Rogue Trooper still worth playing in 2026?

A third person action game from the British comic 2000 AD, Rogue Trooper casts a genetically modified soldier on a war ravaged planet, whose equipment houses the spirits of his fallen comrades. The cover combat system, the disillusioned military science fiction mood and the narrative integration of the digital companions give the action character. The linearity and a dated production weigh on it. A solid title for fans of cover shooters and military science fiction.
