This edition gathers the game and its seasonal expansions, which add their own simulations. The art direction dons subverted festive settings, a Christmas nightmare with menacing garlands, extra motley outfits, visual gags piled high. To the base virtual world are added these themed bubbles, where the cartoonish excess always finds a fresh pretext.
The added content fleshes out an already eclectic soundtrack. New licensed tracks and subverted festive music swell the radio, between parody carols and bonus songs. The score follows the edition's logic of accumulation, piling up moods until the whole becomes an unbridled compilation, where each expansion brings its own colour.
The expansions unspool their own standalone farces. One sends the Saints to save Christmas from a corrupted Santa, another pushes the madness elsewhere, each aping a familiar tale the better to wreck it. The added content extends the game's spirit, multiplying pretexts for absurd little stories in which the crew imposes its gleeful chaos on any setting.
