The aircraft are drawn after propeller planes of the second world war, stocky silhouettes and visible roundels, which immediately sets this title apart from the console's futuristic shooters. The ground scrolls past in rural and coastal landscapes handled in desaturated tones, on which bullet trails and explosions appear as the only frankly coloured elements.
