After Burner II replays the cult Sega arcade hit in Sega Ages. Blistering speed, missile spam and sea-and-cloud skies. A simple port but wonderfully nostalgic for fans.

Description
A Sega and 3D Ages shoot-em-up released in 2004, the tenth volume of the Sega Ages 2500 collection. A recreation of the After Burner II arcade (1987) with overhauled 3D graphics, but preserved original gameplay and level design. Pilot an F-14 Tomcat through enemy squadrons to rock music by Hiroshi Kawaguchi. A vintage Japanese arcade niche.

The tenth volume in Sega's budget Ages 2500 line, this After Burner II offers a 3D remake of the classic arcade flyer, exclusive to Japan. Sold cheaply but pressed in limited numbers, it never left the country or received a Western edition. Its value rests on the hunt to complete the Sega Ages run, where each entry circulates in small quantities. Interest centers on Sega shooter fans and players who prize faithful arcade remakes.
