Dynamite Deka, the first one (Die Hard Arcade), returns in Sega Ages form. Snappy arcade brawler, tasty gags and a Hollywood mood. A retro romp to clear in one session.

Description
A Sega and 3D Ages beat'em up released in 2006, the twenty-sixth Sega Ages 2500 volume. A recreation of Dynamite Deka (1996), a Sega arcade beat'em up where Bruno Delinger and Cindy Holiday hunt terrorists in a Tokyo building, using absolutely anything as a weapon (chairs, umbrellas, baguettes). A caricatural Die Hard spirit, cult arcade niche.

Is Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 26 - Dynamite Deka still worth playing in 2026?

A recreation by 3D Ages of Sega's arcade beat 'em up, this volume restores Dynamite Deka, known in the West as Die Hard Arcade, where you cross a stormed building dishing out blows, grabs and objects picked up along the way to free hostages. The snappy catharsis, the offbeat humour and the quick time events punctuating the action stay enjoyable in two player. The short structure and the Japan exclusivity weigh on it. A likeable reworking for fans of arcade beat 'em ups and of the Sega legacy.
