Description
A Sega and 3D Ages rail shooter released in 2004, the fourth Sega Ages 2500 volume. A recreation of Space Harrier (1985), a Yu Suzuki cult pseudo-3D rail shooter arcade where the hero glides through the phantasmagoric Original Land against dragons and bizarre creatures. Faithful modern 3D overhaul, an essential vintage arcade niche.

Is Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 4 - Space Harrier still worth playing in 2026?

A recreation by 3D Ages of Sega's legendary rail shooter, this volume restores the frantic dash of Space Harrier through psychedelic landscapes peopled with oversized creatures, with a modernised 3D faithful to the spirit of the 1985 cabinet. The sense of speed, the snappy pace and the surreal imagery keep all their power. The stripped down concept and the Japan exclusivity limit access. A fine reworking for fans of arcade rail shooting and of Sega's golden age.
