The Spanish edition impresses by the number of enemies it displays at once. In the great battles, dozens of Uruk-hai surge onto the screen at the same time, ladders raised, battering rams on the move, a tide of attackers that swamps the ramparts. This crowd handling, rare on the console, gives the sieges an epic scale and makes the enemy's crushing numerical superiority physically felt.
The sonic singularity lies in its choirs sung in invented languages. At the gravest moments, voices intone texts in Elvish or the Black Speech, whose strange sonority, half-sacred, half-menacing, colors the action well beyond a mere ambience. These words of veiled meaning add a mythological thickness to the singing.
This version also presents itself as a collector's object for fans of the film. Progressing unlocks a mass of side content, image galleries, production documents, behind-the-scenes footage, so that the adventure doubles its role as an action game with an anthology function. The played story thus comes with a making-of to reconstruct, rewarding the fan's perseverance.

Collector interest
The Spanish edition of Electronic Arts' The Two Towers, a localized version of the first action game of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy for the Spanish-speaking audience. Its interest lies above all in this period Spanish dubbing that makes it the sought version in Spain, the object staying common. A piece of nostalgia for Spanish-speaking fans of the license and Peter Jackson's films.
Is Senor de los Anillos, El - Las Dos Torres still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2002 on PS2, Electronic Arts' project adapts the first two films of The Lord of the Rings into a third person brawler of formidable efficiency. The combat rests on combos, parries and gratifying finishing blows, illustrated by film footage drawn from the movies. Playing Aragorn, Legolas or Gimli at Helm's Deep delivers a genuine epic sweep. The repetition of the fights and the linearity make themselves felt. Recommended for fans of nervous action and for Tolkien devotees nostalgic about the golden age of film tie-ins.
