Murdered in the very first minutes, a man travels back in time again and again to prevent his own death. A time enigma as elegant as it is harrowing, the tale questions fate and the weight of every choice. Short but dense, this philosophical thriller cultivates a melancholy charm that leaves a lasting mark.

Is Shadow of Destiny still worth playing in 2026?

An adventure from Konami, known as Shadow of Destiny or Shadow of Memories, follows Eike, a murdered man who travels back in time to prevent his own death, in a small German town with many branches. The time travel concept, the cause and effect puzzles and the multiple endings create a singular, fascinating narrative experience. The slow pace and modest graphics have aged. An original work for fans of cerebral adventure, time paradoxes and branching stories.
