A Konami sniper rail shooter built for the light gun. Precision matters, missions feel snappy and the mood stays tense. Excellent arcade pressure valve for fans.

Is Silent Scope still worth playing in 2026?

Built around the arcade's scope rifle, Silent Scope keeps on Dreamcast that sniper tension nothing else quite matched. Spotting a target with the naked eye, zooming, holding your breath and landing the shot still feels great, even if the home port loses the bulky gun cabinet. The textured backdrops have aged and the run is short, but the pure arcade pacing and the clarity of the aim hold up. A genuine arcade oddity best enjoyed in short bursts.
