Silva Saga, a Seta RPG from January 1992, blends fantasy and science fiction on a Famicom already retreating before the Super Famicom, making it a late release with a reduced print run. Japanese only and tied to Seta, a studio better known for hardware than games, it appeals to fans of obscure 8-bit JRPGs and of the Minelvaton lineage whose world it extends, rather than to any mainstream recognition.
