The crowd makes the difference: the passers-by are not generic silhouettes but identifiable residents from the series, each with their own skin colour, hairstyle and walk. Running into the principal or the comic-book seller at a street corner is therefore a matter of recognition rather than scenery.
The story is cut into episodes, each led by a different member of the family, which reproduces the television series' format exactly. The parody of the open-world driving game is assumed right down to the dialogue, where the characters openly comment on the absurdity of the missions handed to them.
