The third entry in Zipper's tactical series, SOCOM 3 widens the scale with vast maps, drivable vehicles and freer objectives for the SEALs commando. The order based squad management, the realism of engagements and an online multiplayer once thriving made it a genre reference on PS2. The now dead servers and a dated AI limit the experience. A good tactical shooter for fans of large scale military action and realistic command in solo.
