Sol Divide is a Psikyo hybrid shmup RPG on PS1. Combination of horizontal shooting and RPG magic with characters of distinct styles. Original but less refined than Psikyo's pure shmups. An interesting niche title for shmup fans seeking something different on PS1.

Description
Japanese Psikyo shoot them up, heroic-fantasy horizontal scrolling where armored heroes fight hordes of magical creatures. Created by Psikyo, released in 1997 in Japan and Asia, in 1998 in the United States under the Sol Divide title. Six heroic-fantasy horizontally-scrolling levels, three heroes with distinct magical abilities, two-player cooperative mode and heroic orchestral soundtrack. Japanese, Asian and American edition under the Sol Divide title.
