Sonic Battle on GBA, fighting game with Sonic universe characters. Original card system for attacks, pleasant multiplayer. Less deep than a true fighting game but fun for fans.

Description
Fighting game by Sonic Team and Sega, in the United States February 2004. Sonic, Shadow, Rouge, Knuckles and other franchise characters battle in isometric 3D arenas with special cards. Collectible card system representing attacks and abilities, story mode, link cable versus and characters to unlock. Adapts the Sonic franchise in an original fighting game style.

A Sonic Team take on the Sonic universe as a fighter, this game stands out for its attack-card system and a roster of supporting characters rarely playable elsewhere. The US version stays common loose, but sealed copies climb sharply, the gap between loose and new being among the widest in the Sonic GBA catalog. Interest comes from this offbeat brawler design and the presence of Emerl, a character absent from the other entries in the line.
