The last 8-bit Sonic bets on a pre-rendered look that gives depth to the scenery and the rounded heroes. Dashing, bouncing and collecting rings keeps the series' edge, garnished with a few visual surprises. Slower than its elders but rich in colour, it offers an endearing retro stroll for fans of the blue hedgehog.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.

Released in 1997 and exclusive to the Brazilian market through Tec Toy, Sonic Blast is the very last Sonic published on Master System, long after the console was abandoned elsewhere. That position as the absolute endpoint of the 8-bit line, paired with Tec Toy exclusivity, drives its value, especially on complete copies in the cardboard box. The game itself underwhelms, but its Brazilian scarcity and last-stand status outweigh that for collectors.
