Description
A Sega and Sonic Team compilation released in 2005, an anthology of lesser-known Sonic games. Includes Sonic CD (Mega-CD 1993), Sonic R (Saturn 1997), Sonic the Fighters (arcade 1996) and several Game Gear titles (Sonic Drift, Tails Adventure, Sonic Triple Trouble). Decent emulation but uneven selection (missing Sonic 3D Blast). A bonus for hardcore hedgehog franchise fans.

The heritage value is real, with the emulation of games hard to find at the time, especially the excellent Sonic CD. The uneven quality of the bundled titles and a selection short of the great classics temper the whole. A compilation to recommend for Sonic fans and curious collectors.
