Sonic turned into a pinball: the idea is wild. Result is chaotic but mesmerizing. Hard to truly control the hedgehog, but the deranged concept has its own perverse charm.

Collector interest

An 8-bit take on the Sonic pinball spin-off, Sonic Spinball reached PAL and Brazilian shelves in 1994, near the console's European tail end. That late timing thinned the print run and lifts its standing, especially on complete and sealed copies. The novelty of the hedgehog reduced to a pinball adds niche appeal, but it is the limited end-of-life production, more than the game's quality, that anchors its value among collectors.
