The hero descends to the lower world to free the upper world lamp by lamp, namely a cycle of real time combat and village reconstruction that proves surprisingly satisfying. The staging is concise, the Yasuhiro Kawasaki soundtrack touching. A genuine gem to discover, especially as a companion to Illusion of Gaia. Recommended to lovers of emotionally driven 16 bit action JRPGs.
