A racing action game from TT Games, Spy Hunter relaunches the cult arcade licence, where you drive an over armed spy vehicle at high speed, alternating chases, shooting and transformations of the car into boat or motorcycle against a backdrop of secret agent missions. The snappiness of the action, the variety of gadgets and the uninhibited arcade spirit appeal to fans of fast sensations. The decent production and a repetitive structure bound the ambition. For a fan of arcade racing action or someone nostalgic for the licence, the title keeps a preserved snappiness and arcade spirit, in an honest production.
