SSX 3 sequel less well received, featuring ski integration. Mountain is larger but the magic of SSX 3 doesn't fully reproduce. Fun but below the best episodes. For completionist franchise fans seeking the last entry.

Description
The SSX franchise adds skiing alongside snowboarding, with players creating their own rider to climb the World Tour hierarchy. Published by EA Sports BIG, released in 2005 in the United States and Europe. Full rider creation and customization, the return of SSX stars, halfpipe and speed events, a varied rock soundtrack, and an even richer trick system.
SSX on Tour is the lukewarmest entry in EA's boarding series, the addition of skiing having split fans. Its Asian Xbox run, in a market where the console stayed marginal, still makes it an uncommon edition. The desirability owes mainly to this regional scarcity and to belonging to a prized SSX franchise, more than to the merits of this lesser volume.
Is SSX on Tour still worth playing in 2026?
An entry in Electronic Arts' arcade snowboarding series, SSX on Tour leans on dizzying descents, spectacular tricks and a distinctive doodled graphic style, in a snappy musical career mode. The sense of gliding, the rewarding trick system and the punk rock soundtrack keep real energy. A production slightly behind the series' best entries and a sometimes wayward camera weigh on it. A title for fans of arcade extreme sports and acrobatic gliding.
